Here’s another exercise John often ask his students to do: Draw out a Yoga Mala depicting the vinyasa and asanas together. You can include the breath IN or EX as well if you like. Draw a little stick person inside each bead of the Mala in the appropriate place. Not only is this a great way to learn the numbers but it also helps you to remember the sequence of Asanas that make up each posture.
